The UNI-Dome has been a great asset to the campus of the University of Northern Iowa. It gives the campus of the University of Northern Iowa an identity. Many people don't know much about the University of Northern except that it is the place where the dome is. This sense of identity was something that many people felt was missing from the campus of the University of Northern Iowa before the UNI-Dome was built. The dome houses many great events that bring joy and excitement to the campus of the University of Northern Iowa. Back when the heads of the University proposed the building of this great dome many people doubted that such a structure could be built in the Cedar Falls area. The dome was built and it has had its flaws, but for the most part it has only turned out positive effects on the University of Northern Iowa and the state of Iowa. I'm sure if you ask most people today who are associated to the University of Northern Iowa, they will say the dome is a valuable asset to the University of Northern Iowa, state of Iowa, and the city of Cedar Falls.
