The Beaux Art technique, as seen in the above building, is the synthesis of Italianate, Neoclassical, and Baroque French architecture.  Some main features represented in this design are leaded glass transoms, cornices, and enormous cartouches dripping with sculptural ornamentation.  This truly is a mutt of many architectural styles, faithful to the appearance of Main Street Cedar Falls.
